yea, i know most of you might think its a scam and stuff, but last night, i saw them show it at the NHRA style fest on espn 2
so im thinking that if it was shown on TV during the show, shouldnt it at least help your car in some way and be worth the money?
this one looks better than the turbonator cause it doesnt really block your intake thing as much and it doesnt have stupid promises like a 35 horsepower gain
anyone here ever tried it?
im interested to know what the results are

While it may work for an older carburated car, it will not work in a FI car simply due to the fact that most intake manifolds alreay apply the proper swirl to the air to properly mix the fuel and air.......

Yeah I don't think you'll notice anything.
They can get them on racing shows and stuff since pay the money to be on there. I'm skeptical of any obstruction in the car's air way (except forced-induction devices of course!).

Thunder...save your money for an ice cream cone, you'll enjoy it more and for longer..they work a little but not for the $65.00 to $95.00 you pay for them...

yeah, a turbo is technically a restriction in the airway, however it really isn't an obstruction when it gets spinning.
I agree with WheelBrokerAng. Save your cash for something else.
My friend purchased 2 of those turbinator or whatever they are, and placed them together inline right before the throttle body. He started his car up and drove around and we couldn't feel even a slight gain. And what really gets me laughing is he bought 2 of them thinking he'd double his gains and economy.

Yeah, he tried 2 because "they are so cheap". He's got a stock 04' mustang GT auto and is always looking for cheap power. He really thought it would act like a mini supercharger or something, but it didn't and I didn't notice anything at all. Of course he said he felt a little increase, but later on he just accepted that he wasted his money and confessed to no power gains.
One time, he tried injecting propane through some tubing right into is air intake. Now that was some funny stuff!
