Will I benifit more with a twin loop... and Why???

to tell you the truth i have never seen or heard that type of muffler before. so i cant really tell you how it would perform......

 

When I was searching for my exhaust I saw a ton of those too. In my eyes, I would think that it would be quieter, and increase torque by a margin. But I woudl think it would drop performance b/c of the extreme bends.

 

sounds right... all those bends would make the flow's trip longer...

 

I have a honda perfomance book that has that style of muffler in it, its basically having a larger exaust while reducing the sound but its pretty much as 19accord97 said when i get back home i'll post a picture of it with the text, from what i remember it describes what it does with that style

its a less restrictive muffler that goes through 2x to reduce noise


im waiting for one of those to be shipped ill tell you how it goes.

 

I always thought a less restrictive exhaust has the least amount of bends as possible and wil be louder.
The quicker the exhaust gases are released the better your top end, but also the louder the exhaust.
So I don't think a less restrictive (free flowing) exhaust will reduce noise, it will actually get louder.
The more restrictive an exhaust, the quieter it is which explains why a stock exhaust system is not as loud as an aftermarket exhaust.
