ULEV
I was wondering if there was a difference between the F23a1 and F23a4. Also I was wondering if anybody has dyno'd a stock ULEV. I was wondering how much hpit puts down. I have a 2001 4 door 5 speed ULEV w/GReddy cat-back.
Basically wondering if anybody had a lot of info on my car.

According to Honda Owner Link, my Accord engine info is as follows:
Engine
Type: Aluminum Alloy: In-Line 4
Displacement (liters): 2.3
Horsepower @ rpm (SAE net): 150 @ 5700*
Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm): 152 @ 4900*
Compression Ratio: 9.3: 1
Valve Train: SOHC: 16-Valve VTECâ„¢
Fuel System: Multi-Point Fuel Injection
Ignition System: Electronic w/Immobilizer
* 148-hp @5700/148 lb.-ft. @4900 ULEV-rated engine available in California and parts of the Northeast.I have a ULEV (per the valve cover). It was purchased in NJ so that makes sense.

RE: ULEV
Hi eveyone! Well, according to my research, the F23A1 & A4 VTEC long blocks are identical. The heads are the same part numbers and all exterior components 100% transferable from the A1. I just picked up a usedF23A4 VTEC ULEV with 50K for my 98 Accord to replace the not so tired F23A1 (150K hard miles on it!) I already took the head off and sent the cam towww.webcamshafts.com for a re-grind. I don't have the specs yet but it's supposed to be ready by Friday. I'm leaving the bottom end stock for now and possibly resurfacing the head once I know the specs on the cam to see what I can take offif any. It's supposed to be the radicalest profile for this application. Also, my local Honda Dealer is supplying the Head Set and it does have different part numbers for the A1 and A4 so I ordered the A1 set to insure my components fit the gaskets. I will also be converting my ECU to thewww.hondata.com system "S200" to dial in the engine in order to maximize HP gains. I'm still debating on what cam gears to run before I degree the cam in. More to come... I'll let you know how it all comes together.
