my friend and i are trying to make his 04 accord coupe with a 4 cyl ivtech look run and sound nicer. weve taken care of the audio but we are curious as to what we should install next performance wise. we have a cold air intake system on it and thats the only thing we've managed to get so far. what is the next part we should upgrade or install? thanks ahead of time for your help.

We really dont care how much we have to spend but wed like cheap but good stuff. and we want it to be a somewhat drift style car

If honda didn't change anything it should be in the pass side floor board agents the fire wall.

Also I saw your other post. A chip? For what? If you are getting the ecu chipped and socketed for a tune that's all find and good. But if you are buying a "performance" chip...don't waste your money.

Now if money is no issue I would look into Bisimoto's K series parts. Cam's, pistons, rods, valve train ect. ect.

Just remember tho it pays to play.

As for exhaust find the muffler you like and go to a exhaust shop and have them make you a 2.5' MANDREL bent exhaust. Should run you about $200 with you providing them with your muffler of choice.

About the ECU...if you are planning of getting a tune done. Wait until you have added all my performance parts then get the tune. So you can yield the best numbers.

 

we decided to put a cherry bomb turbo muffler on the car and i did most of the work installling it (including custom parts) myself at skool. but from wat it sounds like ur saying we should wait till we get more done to the engine before messing with the ecu. correct?
