i recently installed a short ram intake.and there was only one problem.theresa high pitch whistling sound coming frm it wheni take off...any answers

 

i think that whistling sound is the intake because it is sucking in the air minds does that too...after a while it sounds like a turbo spooling up!!!

 

aite well i guess im not gonna worry bout it.then.um
i was actually impressed b/c it makes my car sound a lot deeper.lol my friend has one and its pretty high pitched.whenever i go like wot its like super load and deep its pretty awesome.um wat u think my next upgrade should b?

 

Yeah, intakes sound great! If you arent going turbo then do the basic I/H/E. Intake, headers, exhaust

that whistling noise is probably normal but check your clamps/seal around the air filter and tubing to make sure there isn't a gap sucking air somewhere....

 

there wasnt any leaking air we tood the filter off and revd it up a cpl time toc wat was goin on.but it was nothin...so i guess its normal.thanks guys.....
