Default Will it sound weird a flowmaster in a HONDA?

I was wondering how will a 98 accord v6 sound with a single flowmaster 40 series muffler? Im planning to convert my dual exhaust into a single exhaust and i just want some opinions if a flowmaster 40 series will sound good or bad. Oh i forgot what is the stock diameter on the exhaust pipes is 2.25 or 2.50? thanks

It will sound good..had one come around the area today with a 40 series..mellow and loud at the same time..I believe his was 2.5 on both ends...

But don't some guys recommend to keep the stock specifications on the exhaust to keep the back pressure?

For the most part, the muffler doesn't matter when it comes to proper flow. Backpressure is a myth. The real reason for not oversizing piping is because it makes the flow too slow and not uniform. Again, the pipe size matters, not the muffler. The muffler only matters for the type of sound that you get.

Delta Flow 40 series have good exterior sound level but the interior sound level is not as loud. I have one on my Camaro and likes it alot.

I'm thinking of the same for my '04 EX V6. But why go from dual to single?
