IL Lakeshore cruise! (March)
So me and some Accord buddies were planning to go on a cruise from Winnetka along Sheridon to downtown Chicago..
Time: 2PM - whenever
Place: Skokie Lagoons Picnic area parking (meeting point) (off 94, coming from south: exit 33B E Willow Rd)
Date: middle of March TBA
cruise time - 1Hr + some, more if traffic is bad.
The route I came up with is here.

We first meet up at Skokie Lagoons parking right off 94, most of us will be coming from the south, so take exit 33b East Willow Rd. The route starts up north in Winnetka with some nice scenery then heads south on Sheridon Rd where we will tackle the ravines (the BEST/only twisties near Chicago) while you are surrounded by expensive lake side real estate and we continue all the way down lake shore drive, maybe stop along the way for pictures. We could then turn into Lower Wacker Dr (where The Dark Knight chase scene was filmed), but only about a third of it is drivable due to construction towards the end. We then turn into the Field Museum and possibly Soldier Field for some good shots. We could then have some nice Chicago style pizza at the end and go home.
