The 95 Accord EX that I just bought my daughter, has what appears to be a 110 electrical outlet on the passenger side if the gear shift center console. It appears to be a factory installation. The car was made in Japan. Anybody know anything about this?

by made in japan do you mean the VIN starts with a J but is still the US model, or it is a actual JDM car imported from japan

The previous owner could have installed an inverter. Look under the hood.

 

Ive never heard of that being standard.

Whats the first 6 of the VIN?
