Default 1998 seats in a 1997

I have a 1997 accord ex and found a wrecked 1998 accord with close to perfect seats. I was curious if they would fit in my 97. Thanks anyone that can help

Welcome to HAF.

They are different, how different I'm not sure. And to modify a safety feature is not something I would be comfortable with.

The 1997 is a 5th generation model (94-97) whereas the 1998 is a 6th generation (98-02), therefore they may not be an exact match

However, this does not mean that the 98's won't work in your 97, although some modification may be required

Bottom line (of course)... the decision is entirely up to you
