--Love the car. I've started having a problem w/ the electrical system. Car runs fine, no warning lights on, then the car shuts off. Radio & Air Cond. still work fine-No headlights & dash goes completely dead. After about 2 or 3x's the car starts back up & runs fine. Problem happens maybe once or twice a week.
--Any suggestions? Dealership put on computer & found nothing.
It's a V6 with a VTec engine.

 

Check for a flaky ignition switch. As far as storing error codes, the ECU thinks you turned off the car. (If the switch isthe problem.)

If you can make it stall by wiggling the key, that pretty much demonstrates it's a flaky switch.
