Default 2000 honda acccord coupe

Does anyone know why my 2000 accord coupe has no instrument panel light (Speed odometer)
When I start the car I get my clock light, odometer light and transmision position light (P) come on,
but when I turn on my headlights I loose all instrumentation lights. Have to drive in the dark.
Any ideas?

Hi Boricua54..

Welcome to the forums..glad to have you in here.

I have a suspicion that you may have a faulty headlight switch, it appears by what you say that the switch which has contact points may have some problem with it..go buy a switch and install it to see if it rids you of that problem..see if the parts company will let you bring it back if you dont ruin it in case thats not the problem..

Again WELCOME...[sm=shades.gif]

Ya, it sounds like it would be something to do with the headlight switch or possibly the Illumination switch.
