I just bought my first Honda a few weeks ago and am already experiencing transmission problems. Not sure yet of the severity, but was wondering if there have been previous issues with this year? It only has 118k miles but there is no warranty on it...

Now the part where you get mad.....the 98-02 auto trans is kind of known for going bad

You can try to change the trans fluid with Honda trans fluid and see if that helps.

 

Thanks for the welcome! ..and the suggestions. I will try that to see if it helps. Guess I didn't do enough research before purchasing the car, but I just knew that Honda's were good cars and would last. Hopefully it won't need to be fully replaced. *fingers crossed*
