Default 2004 Accord EX Owner in Maryland

Hello! I just registered on the site and recently bought a 2004 Accord EX from my daughter. She graduated from college and wanted to buy a new car, just as I did years ago. But the Accord was too nice let get away.

My need was for a daily driver during the winter months, although my primary transportation seven or eight months of the year is by motorcycle. Buying a new car wasn't a very attractive option, but the Accord was!

I'm hoping to both give and receive assistance on keeping an Accord running well.

Thanks for the welcome! The map lights and sunglass holder fix is nice, and the thread now appears in this forum...

A few other projects are coming up, and additional 'how-to' threads will hopefully accompany them.

Again, nice job with the write up and "Thank you" for taking the time to document it and sharing.

If there are any questions or you get stuck with any projects just post up - most things here just go in "General Tech" - and I'm sure someone will chime in with an answer.

Again, welcome to HAF

Welcome to the forum, Othello

You've made a wise decision with the Accord

Great decision not to let go of the Great car.

Thanks. Just a few 'beauty marks' here and there, but rust-free when we purchased the Accord for my daughter at 161,000 miles in 2013. Replaced the oil and filter on Saturday, noting just over 215,000 miles on the odometer, so she's just about broken in.
