I changed out the CV axles and knuckle assemblies and now the transmission appears to be dead! Could I have done internal damage by using an air hammer to remove RF CV axle?

I was able to simply pry the DS axle to remove, which I did first. Then while removing the PS axle I used a long air hammer to help drive it off. Now after reassembly, the DS axle kind of flops around when spinning the wheel, and the car won’t move.
