2010 LX sedan was purchased private-party with 27k miles. Great car, or so I thought based on prior experience with my '77 and '04 accord LXs.

First impression of the '10 LX was a harsher interior with all the plastic, but am not hung up on that.

A more lasting impression is the seat comfort impaired by that infernal active head knocker which is linked to the overly intrusive lumbar "support". Looking at mods to the seat to correct those issues. Reconfiguring the seat back internals and a gen7 headrest seem to be the best approach. If successful, I will drive the wheels off this LX. Currently, driving with the OEM headrest reversed which is not satisfactory. I notice other gen8 accords with headrest removed. Honda really fubar'd the gen8 seats, but they are in good company with other brands that have similar head knockers.

May also attempt some noise reduction, but have yet to research for success stories. I am aware that some approaches have not been effective.
