Default 2010 lxp

Hi
Just bought my fourth Accord-2010 LXP with 38,000 miles.
Noticed tonight that the trunk when closed is ok on the left side but on right has huge gap. Gap is so big that when I opened it water had at some point seeped in and frozen in the space where the trunk closes ie between the rubber and body of car.
Should i go to a body shop?
Although it is Honda certified the dealer made it clear they wont help,

Welcome to HAF.

If the dealer where you bought it will not help, then yes I would stop by a body shop and ask for an estimate or what they think might be the issue. The manual I have for '10 isn't the best but I did see that there is "some adjustment" of the trunk lid available.

Makes you wonder if it was in a collision?

There's usually those rubber bumpers that can screw in & out, attached to the underside of the lid on either side. Also some adjustment in the position of the latch mechanism - either the latch in the lid or the striker on the car.
