Default 2014 Accord Sport-first time Honda Owner

Longtime Toyota guy that made the jump!
Loved the test drive on the Sport and went from there!
Thought about the pros and cons of waiting for the new Camry in a few weeks and happy with my decision on the Sport....
Just wanted to say hello and glad to be here!

Welcome on board, Maverick8884. Do you already have any pix of your Sport? I'm sure it looks fantastic.

We also have a 2014 Accord Sport and LOVE it. We had a 2007 4runner and had enough of poor handling and wandering. That thing was never fun to drive but was a very dependable vehicle. When we decided to trade it we tested out a 2014 Camry. Those things are nice. We had almost decided to go get it but decided to stop by the Honda dealer and check out the 14 Accord sport. OMG, i was sold after driving it! They wanted to play tough with our trade in so I simply told them if they didn't give me what i wanted, i would go get the Camry. They are both great cars. Well the salesman said he would go back to the manager to relay what i had said but made us watch a video on the crash tests of the 2014 Camry vs the Accord. HMMMM... i couldn't understand why the Camry had a higher insurance premium over the Accord until that video. The Camry did AWFUL on one of the front crash tests, the Accord passed with bragging rights. They ended up coming within 250$ of what i wanted for our trade so we walked out with the 2014 Accord Sport financed for 36 months @ 220$ We bought it in November of 2013 and as of Jan 2015, only owe under 8k. I don't think we could have made a better choice. Since then my mom and sister in law have both bought 14 Accord Sports and my youngest brother is considering one. We ended up getting the white. We have since tinted the glass, 5% rear glass and both rear doors. 20% both front doors with a 5% strip on the windshield. I have changed all interior lights to LED, the license plate lights, and the little strips under the headlights. Dim and bright bulbs have been upgraded to Sylvania Silverstar Ultras. Next upgrade to LED bulbs will be brake lights, blinkers and backup bulbs. This is a sharp looking car bone stock. The radio SUCKS even after upgrading the speakers. Way under powered and no bass at all. But it's a work in progress. and THIS THING IS A BLAST TO DRIVE!!
