Default 2nd Accord

Hi,

I just bought a 1997 Black 4 door 5 speed Honda Accord for my son. I have two questions:

1) I know DC Sports has a ceramic header on their website. But I would prefer one that is stainless steel and also smog legal. Is there one out there or is the DC Sports ceramic header the only choice? What is the expected life cycle of a ceramic header?
2) Has anyone converted from a 4 lug to 5 lug on a 5th generation Accord? If so, please provide details.

Thanks,

Mike

Hello New Member>
Thank you for joining up in the forums.
You can look into the Headers, Intake and Exhaust for your best answers..many comments on other brands of Headers in there..
Same thing with the subject on spacers for wheels (unsafe, not recommended, and I as a dealer do not reccomend them), I dont like the lawsuits they bring because of liabilities from customers who have had they're wheels come off cause they did not follow instructions to put them on correctly..

Again Thanks for joining up with us..

Thanks for the reply... as for my second question, it is not about spacers, but about doing a conversion from 4 lugs to 5 lugs. I am considering this as there are more options for rims with a 5x114.3 than a 4x114.3

Default RE: 2nd Accord.. Lug Conversions**

**On this subject of conversions: If you should decide to do this then Please consider useing a company such as H&R special springs, LP..They are one company that I Trust .
They sell a product that goes by the name of TRAK+ Wheel Spacers, they can do the job right.
These are light weight wonders that move the wheel out from the hub to increase wheel track for a better handling - performance and look for your rides overall design. These conversion kits are trustworthy..
