I have a 87 accord ex 2.2 with manual trans what year and model trans fit this motor f22 ?? will all gear ratios be the same ? i was driving 85 on highway felt a momentary loss of power when i stopped to pay the tole car would not move i revved and broke it loose car ran ok till i stopped and same thing happened figure output shaft jacked up either case i think ill need a new trans iv been told 97 to 2001 will work not sure if this is correct any one know for sure thanks Von

 

94-01 accord, 92-01 prelude. The prelude gears will be a little shorter.

ANY 90-97 accord trans will work and any prelude trans will work too as long as it comes from a F or H series engine. The prelude SH trans WILL NOT WORK
all F series trans will be long gears like you have not and the Prelude (h series trans nly) will be shorter gears,.
