Proud owner (4 days) of a new Accord EX-L with Navi and CVT transmission. So much tech. inside. Still learning how to use all those voice commands. It has the sport mode and someone will have to explain to me what does that mean. It does not have the steering paddles. For fun, I tried that Collision Avoidance thing while following my wife. WOW! it works. There was this very bright orange light that shines on the windshield. Can't miss it even during daylight. Hope I never have to experience that. I'm sure I will be posting questions. :-)

 

Yes I was very disappointed the EXL-Navi didn't have paddle shifter too, not at least equipped with the semi-manual automatic transmission on other sport cars which allowing you to switch to higher/lower gears while in automatic. The S gear is similiar to D1-D3 on older Honda, use it when you need to go up/down hill, or when you need more power to tow something...I think paddle shifter is only availble on the Touring edition and the semi-manual auto gear is only available on Sport edition
