Hello Folks:
I finally decided to register. I have been visiting this forum off and on for quite some time, looking for info and just out of general interest. I am on my third Accord-1986 EXI, 1990 EXR, and presently our 2000 V6. I do pretty much all of my own work and also do work on friend's Hondas. I am retired(Pilot) and love to work on cars that are not pieces of junk.
I just recently solved a daytime running light(DRL) problem for a friend. Actually, I came here looking for info and could not find much-mostly cause up till now, it has been only a Canadian thing. Soon as I find out how to get it on the DIY section, I will write it up and hopefully, have it included. It is a real money saver and very easy to do.
I also want to find out a bit about replacing a lower ball joint on a 1996 Accord, but that is for the tech section.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

welcome to the forum. beware of V6 trans issues although your car should be covered for 7 years or 100K miles provided that the car has not been salvage titled or warranty otherwise voided. I had a '98 but I got tired of constantly going to transmission shop for repairs every few weeks.....

replaced it with a 2002 type S and woah momma what a difference....
