Brand New 2014 EXL-V6 owner (MD)
Hello,
I'm brand new to the forums. I purchased my 2014 Honda Accord EXL-V6 just yesterday and I gotta tell you. This car is flipping amazing. 278hp V6 EarthDreams engine, very high tech, bought it at $28,969 (I kept pulling Honda's arm until they gave me the lowest possible price). I couldn't be anymore happier with the car. Everything was easy to step up in terms of the Radio, Navigation, Bluetooth. Lots of great safety features.
Heck, my insurance even went down $105.00 So yes, very pleased!

ohhhh....nice
Is that the auto or manual?
I'm asking as I'm doing a little shopping myself. A 2 door v6 manual Accord (almost like yours) or go off the really deep end.......an Acura TL SH AWD manual - I'd have to special order this as they don't keep the manual TL's in stock and I'm a fan of stick shifts.

Automatic Transmission with paddle shifters. Pretty sweet. Did good on my first tank of gas (268 miles with a range of 107 miles left to go). Had to fill up because of Winter Storm Pax (LOLs at the weather channel for naming storms...).
But yes, I am very impressed with everything.

The paddle shift I don't use a lot unless it's necessary. I haven't really "OPENED UP" the car yet because I just bought it. I like the "Power boost" you get when you turn off economy mode.
The economy mode is really slick because I can use that when I am off the highway and when I am off the highway, I just feel this JOLT when I turn the economy off.
I got more pictures coming ONCE this snowstorm leaves Maryland. I want to take some pictures in and around the state.
I'm waiting until 500 miles to really "open it up"

Yea, we are getting snow today - and down here, that is a REAL MESS.
If you get a chance to give any feed back on the "paddle" vs. "stick" feel I would like to hear it.
I like a stick but the 2 mph drive home today in the snow gave the clutch a real workout - normal 30~40 minute drive turned into a 2 1/2 hour drive. So I'm some what thinking about the auto/paddle.
