Hey everyone,
I'm John, and my gf owns a 2005 accord ex v6 coupe in pearl blue. (gorgeous car btw)

We both have had alot of fun driving this car around on road trips and what not, but with over 90k miles on the vehicle it is starting to show it's age pretty bad. I know she needs to start washing this vehicle more and I should probably be nicer and wax her car when I wax mine but our schedules conflict so much and I dont feel like waxing and washing in the dark. :P
Anyways, I would like to get her some gifts for christmas and I was hoping to get some parts for her car since she has been wanting to learn more about cars and get into the tuner scene more.
I used to own a 3000gt but I now own a G8 GT. Both groups for these cars had a good following but no where near as big as the honda following. I was hoping to get some advice on some starter mods for this car. She does not race but enjoys having the power to pass. She also likes her car to look pretty but does not want to have to pay attention to every bump so a body kit is kinda out of the question. Any advice?

Talking Hi New Member

1st off, welcome to the HAF....

Do some minor looks for her like Tinted windows, one size up bigger wheel and tire pkg, and maybe a little lowering kit to smooth it out...

hey thanks!
Is there any websites you would suggest for buying parts for this model year. It seems like the older gens and the band new accord seem to get alot more attention from the after market.

Tire rack on this page to the right and also sport wing on the right side of the page are 2 good places to start..

Awe that is so nice of you to want to do that for her. I just had my windows tinted and it makes the car look super sporty, along with keeping people from wanting to look in the car. I agree with maybe getting new rims or tinting the windows.

Thank you guys. I was talking to her today and it turns out she likes the feel of my G8's V8 so much she wants a new camaro ss when she graduates. So buying mods for a car she will trade probably wont be a good idea.

There is a larger aftermarket for performance than the accord and she likes the look. She also doesn't really care what other people think about what she does or drives for that matter. She bases everything she does based on herself. She likes the V-8 and the styling of the new camaro.
We have always loved the honda but she has been born and raised a chevy girl. She's just wanted to go backt o her roots i suppose. take care everyone!
