Whats up all. I not new to accords (89LX, 93EX coupe, 95EXL coupe) but its been awhile since i've owned one. I just test drove a 09 EX coupe 4cyl and the v6 auto(no 6 spd avail) My question is are there alot of aftermarket parts for the v6 as far as the engine and suspension is concerned, all I can find is some basic stuff for the Accord unlike the Civic.

 

i have driven an auto v6 08 accord(my mom just got one) and they are REALLY REALLYfast, alot faster then u think

 

There is suspension,exhaust,and im not quite sure about intake is concerned...

And remember,the civic is geared toward the younger(college) people,and honda has released many parts for it.

 

although the v6 couple 6 spd is fast, faster then the si, stock for stock, the si has a closed gear ratio, which makes it so fast, its made to be drvien hard and fast, the accord is luxury but fast

 

Pontiacs fall apart. My opinion is anything over Pontiac.

You're going to get a Honda bias asking that question on a Honda forum. You'll get a longer life and better long-term performance from the Honda, I guarantee it.

 

I know there is bias on a Honda forum. I just want to be able customize it and not be out ran by a hyped up civic i know the civic is geared towards the younger gen vs the accord but I was once a 18 year old. From the start I had Accords (lucky I guess) Blessed really but I got tired of seeing all the items for the Civic and a hand full for the accord. I finally see what I always wanted Blk on Blk V6 6 spd coupe great platform to start but I don't see much from there. I have a few bucks to customize but not enough to fab parts to get what I want. surprised the G8 has a lot of parts thanks to the Holden Commodore I always been a Honda Accord fan (except the current sedan) I want to go back to my roots but I don't want to dropped back into the same situation
