It may sound like a silly question, but what is the difference between a CD5 and CD6 accord? i hear the 6 is the 4 door and the 5 is the 2 door? If so, would, say, a mugen grill for a a CD6 be compatible with a CD5 and vice versa? Same thing goes for a wing specified for one. Just need to know if the parts are compatible. Thanks for your help.

EDIT: This is with regards to a 5th gen 94 accord LX

 

I'm sure someone will correct me but the main difference is the 5 was offered in the US. The 6 was offered in Japan (I think it came with the H motor).

ive often wondered what the difference was too, but based on that logic, yes, they are the same body with, apparently, different options? best thing to do is google "what is the difference between a cd5 and a cd6 accord"

 

CD5 is the USDM 4 door accord.
CD7 is the USDM 2 door accord.

USDM standing for United States Domestic Market.

CD6 is the JDM Accord SiR.

JDM standing for Japanese Domestic Market.

Parts for a CD6 will fit a 5/7 as long as it isnt an engine part.

As parts for a 5 will fit a 7 as long as it doesnt have to do with the doors or rear window.

is cd7 the same as the canadian 2 door accord then? stock they come with the 4 cyl f22b1 engines.
