Hay Guys
I just purchased a new 08 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 w/Navigation.
This is my first Honda but I have always been very impressed with these cars. I've only had this for a week but so far I love it.
I'm interested in tricking this baby out with a few electronic upgrades. I checked on a factory back up camera and the dealership wanted $800.00 to install Hondas. I was a little disappointed on the amount of work I had to do just to get them to locate and price this option since it's not listed on any accessory options. Also the price seams unrealistic. This isn't a my first Navigation system my last was a aftermarket w/camera and that option was $100-$150 plus install. I suppose I will have a aftermarket camera installed when I have my Valentine 1 radar and Laser Jammers (LI or Pass, undecided yet) installed.
I also was disappointed to find out the sales people misled me that the Accord was iPod ready when the navigation, stereo system is only MP3 capable. Honda is a little behind the curve.
I don't see any aftermarket all weather mats available in a Google search so I guess I will pony up the $140.00 for the dealer accessory. Unless anyone has any tips?
