Default Florida cb7/cd5

Hello everyone Im Ryan. I have 2 accords a 93cb7 and a 94cd5. My cb7 is my DD and my cd5 is my project car. Just got the cd5 last week for a great price. Iv been striping and the motor and tranny are already pulled. My cd5 will be my fun car. She will stay striped and light. Im looking to go g22 w/ this one. Still undecided if I want a n/a beast or take she short cut and go boost...lol I dont dislike boost dont get me wrong. I respect all motor build WAY more than boosted builds tho. It take time and effort and allot of blood sweet tears.(unless your lame and have a shop do it for you..lol j/k...well kinda)

...sorry if a little hard to read grammar owns me

Thanx for the welcome buddy! My next step is 5speed swap here I come pnp! Then down to the machine shop to get the crank worked b/c it had a spun rod bearing. Also getting the block bored to 86mm so I can run k20 pistons. Then I will be on the market for h22 head and tranny. Or a h23 tranny witch ever one I can put the f23 5th gear in I cant remember witch one it is. then after she is all put together I think Im gonna spray her but that still up in the air depending on how much hp she is making (yes I call my cars girls) An by the way the 1st pic is of my cb7 and the others are of the cd5 if you didnt put 2 n 2 2geather (not saying anyones dumb Im just saying)

Why not go to 87mm and use H22 type S pistons, I'm sure they are cheaper and you would have more bore.

From the research Iv have done they say its really pushing the limits w/ the f22s to bore out that much now if I had a f23 it would be a diff. story b/c they are 86mm from the factory. Also has allot to do w/ the clearance issues w/ the valves. But Im still doing research. I dont expect to see my cd5 running for ATLEAST 3-8months depending on what I do to it. I want to do it right the 1st time. Id love to get a f20 and work the hell out of that but I dont have cash like that. Im really looking more towards a n/a build just b/c of the reliability. B/c when the cd5 is running right my cb7 is going to have some down time. b/c I hate autos and its a auto. Also I really really really really really really want to put a boosted h23 vtec in my cb7 awwwhhhhhh that would be sex. Im feeling a hard on just thinking about it. lol...Sorry the h23 vtec is my dream motor. Iv want that thing since I have been into hondas. But I know I cant afford it they way I want it right away b/c I want 500hp+. I know it can be done Iv seen it.

My friend just swapped in a H23A(jdm h23 with vtec as i'm sure you knew).

I am building a N/A H23 with H22 head full race drag motor with hopes of 300whp.

i also dont expect the car to be done for a while.

I wish you luck with your build, and hopefully you'll stick around so we can all see the progress.
