Default Graduation Gift

I graduated High School recently and My mom boughtme 1999 Accord Lx. I have big plans for this car even though I barely know anything about them. Hopefully my understanding and love for my car grows when I come back from basic training. I am happy to be a n00b here

Going into the Army I ship to basic July 5th. Well first thing I want to do would get a new paint job and a body kit, I can't seem to find any one I likethough. Yeah I thank her on a daily basis actually, I really like my car.

Good luck in basic and congrats on the ride.
If you want to look at other guys' accords like yours (many with body kits & some major mods) go to www.6thgenaccord.com.

Congrats on the car!

When you go to basic decide if you are going to stand out or just go along. Make that decision on your first day of basic (not reception) and stick to it. Your life will be much easier if you do. Also, Drill Sargents are there to make sure that you learn what you need and get in shape. Everything they do and tell you to do will help you, after you've been working out in the cold mud for 3 hours you may not feel that way but if you give everything you've got to every workout you'll pass all your tests easily and be in GREAT shape. Good luck and enjoy it! Thanks for joining! Let us know when you're getting ready to go to Iraq and we'll give you some advice there too!
