Default Hello!

I have just purchased a 96 accord ex 4dr. autowith 162,000 kms on it. I am trying to find a set of emblems for it as the orginals are pitted.Have found bits listed on eBay but not a full set. Also working on a rough idleproblem which I believe to be rear a engine mount problem from what I have read on this siteso far.
The car is in great shape and runs like new on the highway.

Thanks for the welcome and I confirmed today that the vibration is from the rear motor mount. The tube on it is split in half. Now to find one without spending all my beer money, dealer price here is $350. [sm=forgetit.gif]

is it the tube on top of the mount that is split or the hose that connects to it? if it's just the hose that's cheap, if it's the "nipple" or stem on the mount then yeah you need a whole new mount.... How about $45.00 '

I guess tube was a poor choice of word. It's the round metal piece that goes from the vaccum actuator to the mount. I am on the east coast of Canada, Autozone and Advance are not local shops.

I am trying to find a Canadian based shipper in order to avoid the border crossing hassle and $$$. If not then I'll go that route. Car is not going to be used until April so I do not have to rush.

Default RE: Hello!

We have NAPA autoparts stores here as well as Canadian Tire stores. TheMrs. is heading to Maine on a shopping trip (shudder)very soon so if I do not find one here that's reasonably priced I will call an Autozone ($65)there and make sure they have one available for me.

Thanks for the suggestions

Just to let you know that we found a used mount and switched the actuator and rod off it and the car now idles smoothly. [sm=itsok.gif]now
