Hi everybody,
Just joined up here, figured I'd introduce myself. My name is Ethan, and I am the proud new owner of a white 1998 Honda Accord EX V6 3.0L Coupe. And I love it. My last car was a 1995 Saab 900s, and let me tell you, tunability on that car was horrible. It's so nice to be able to find parts in such abundance and at such affordable prices. So I'm here to pick your brains and just generally kick around ideas about cars in general (and Accords in particular). I'm a Captain in the eX-Drivers, one of the largest racing teams in the midwest. I live in the Chicago area, which is great cause all the big car shows come through here. That's about all I have for now, specially since I'm doing this at work (bored on a Friday lol).[8D]

Hey, sorry it took a while to reply, huge project came up at work and my internet isn't up at home yet. Now that I'm back to being bored though...
To answer the question regarding mods, my tax return this year is paying for an Apexi dual exhaust and an Erebuni body kit. Then the next 2 years tax returns are being put into my Comptech Supercharger Kit. I'm also going to gradually be adding several other parts over the next couple years: APR Performance strut tower bar, DC Sports headers, either a Fujita or AEM cold air intake with K&N filter, and Suspension Techiniques front and rear sway bars. I'm also considering Tein lowering springs, but the body kit I'm getting might already have a low enough profile that I don't have to get them. I'm going to upgrade my intake manifold too, although I don't know what company has that yet. I also want to do an engine rebuild at somepoint, cranks, connecting rods, pistons, everything else [sm=lildevil.gif]both to take some miles off and max my performance.
I also understand that a vtech controller might be a good investment.

For the intake manifold I'd probably just try to find a good machine shop and have them clean it up a bit and possibly bore it a tad if possible, have you considered comptech swaybars? not that suspension techniques is bad don't get me wrong but I'm kind of a comptech fan.... even if the profile is low enough I'd go with a sporty spring like H&R OE springs (about $200.00 maybe 1/2" drop) to give it a better handling profile and keep it from bottoming out the body kit if it's that low.... your stock suspension may have to much travel in it for a body kit that's close to the ground.... just something to think about.... and if you're going to turbo or supercharge it I'd just get a hondata controller and that should take care of everything (including the vtech controll)
