I wanted to start off saying hello to everyone here. and give some info about myself and my new to me car. I am currently semi retired, I still do odd jobs now and again usually fixing friend's and family's cars. I was a mechanic in the Texas Army National Guard, and have been turning wrenches and getting my fingernails dirty since I was about 9. I prefer imports built in the mid to late 80's, so when my uncle asked if I wanted his old 1987 Honda Accord LX I said yes. In 2007 the fuel pump died and he changed it but a few weeks later it died again and wouldn't restart. He figured it was the fuel pump relay but never got around to replacing it. It then sat ever since then. The car has a 2L with a carburetor, with only 129k on the odometer. While it was parked some mice chewed up half of the vacuum hoses so that is first on the list to fix. Amazingly other than the spark plug wires the mice left the rest of the wiring alone. The interior is brown on brown and is in mint condition (see pictures), The exterior is white but the paint is in pretty bad condition.
