Hello to everyone
Hallo people. My name is Pedro. I am foreigner. Im a navy officer from Argentina.
And I very recently bought a 1990 Honda Accord 2.0 automatic and I was needing some information. Im completely new to cars and specially hondas.
So some of you will find my questions shocking, like which model is it? DX? LX or EX? And how do I know? (Its also missing the logo in the rear that used to indicate which model it was).
Also, since the previous owner was a woman and didnt had the owners manual.
Could someone please tell me which spark plugs does the car uses?
What engine oil?
And tire pressure?
The other thing peculiar about this car is that, unlike the vast majority of accords from those years, this one was manufactured in Japan, and not in the US.
This is the car:
Any information will be most appreciated.
And thank you all

Welcome to HAF.
Most of us are in NA so some of the spec's might be a bit different for your car.
You might check under the hood for sticker about the plugs, I would use NGK if you can get them (ZFR6F-11).
For the oil, check the cap for any spec's, a good 10w-40 should do fine.
Tires, just inside the drivers door there should be a sticker.....but ~32 psi cold should be good to go.

Thank you so much. There were no stickers, so your information has been useful.
I really appreciate it.
It was working on 3 cylinders, but today with the new spark plugs all 4 ignited.
I see that 2 of the spark plugs it had before were not the correct type.

Welcome to the forum, Pedro
It is possible that you may be able to locate some of your vehicle's information by doing on online search for a site that uses the VIN #... here is an example, however there are many other sites available as well..

Ey, thank you all for all the replies. Yes, I figured out those details by now.
Its the EXi model with a A20A4 engine.
Now, whats the difference with the a20a3-2-1 I have no idea.
And the "i" and the end means fuel inyected, am I right?

I'll guess the "i" is for fuel injection. Trim levels in different parts of the world/countries mean different things....at least on the older ones, not 100% sure on newer ones.
For example, a 5th gen (94-97) EX in the US = a EX-L in Canada
