Hello fellow accord enthusiasts!
Hey all. While I can't say I just got an accord, I can say that I've had mine for a few years and want to "make it better". It's a 1994 Accord LX, automatic transmission.
I bought it used at 149xxx, and it's now at 161xxx. In the time I've had it, I've had replaced the master cylinder, the driver's side window controls, the timing belt, rear bonded shoes once, front pads a couple times.
Funny story with the master cylinder - the guy I bought the car off of runs a used car dealership, supposedly specializing in hondas. When he replaced the master cylinder for me, I had only had the car for about a month. He replaced it with another broken master cylinder, which almost made my brakes go out completely. Fun times.
What I would love to have done to my car is a thorough inspection, so I could find out what all is / is going / is going to be soon bad. Unfortunately I don't have any idea where I could go in my area - around pittsuburgh, pennsylvania - that I could trust enough to do this.
I feel like that would be the first step I should take, before I worry about getting a cold air intake, etc put in - to get my car running good as it is now, then upgrade it.
Does anybody have any ideas of how I could go about this? Thanks in advance!
