Hey peoples
Just introducing my self and my car. I have a Honda Accord 98 ex 4 cylinder with custom dual exhaust, strut bar, and lowering springs. My body kit is a bit damaged well loose, but it can easly be fixed with a couple of bolts. I want to start modding it but dont know where to even start so thats why I decided to come to this forum and sign up. Here are some pictures taken with my cell phone. Oh and ignore the TypeR emblem.. it was like that when i bought the car but i dont want to take it off because i dont want to have a hole in my trunk.

Welcome to the forum! With your mods on there I think you're overdue for at least a set of stock aluminum rims.... Car looks nice but those black rims kill me.... Other than that nice looking car, did you do the lowering springs yourself or??? I just noticed you said they were custom.
No i dint put the lowering spring on there my self the reason I said custom is because I dont kno what brand they are so thats the best way I could describe them. And about the rims, haha.. yea every one tells me that i need to stop riding on donuts.. lol
They kinda look like ground control coilovers actually.... or neuspeed. How's the ride on those? As for the rims I think that just putting a decent set of hubcaps on there would look better than the black, go to the parts store and spend $20.00 on a set. *L* Overall though I do really like the look of your car.
Will do about the hubcaps in the temp. whileI look for some rims. And about the suspension, it alright in my opinion enough its not a bumpy ride but its not super smooth, thats ok with me thoe.. I like to feel the road.
I think they're ground control sleves. I think they are the only ones that make the height adjustment with a single perch with the bolt to tighten the perch.
I agree with getting some wheels on there. Sway bars would help the cornering, but you may not need them. Maybe an HID conversion? Pinstripe? Intake (or take off the resonator). Satelite radio is a nice mod!!! tons more, just ask about what you're interested in.

Cool Cool.. Thanks for the comments "falkore24". Where would be a good place to look for inexpencive wheels, and or HID lights. Also what intake would you recomend, for the intake I dont care about the price because my main focus on this car is not so much looks but performance first.
Could you give me a bref comparison on Cold Air and Short Ram? I know that Cold Air intakes cant be really used when it rains or something like that. But I heard that there is add on that will let us use it in the rain and will stop water from going into the engine.

Sure can, though there are numerous threads about them. Please, use the search on this forum and you may find your answer.
An SRI (Short ram intake) is a very easy modification. It basically takes place of your OEM intake, looks better, is louder, gives you better mpg and will give you 2-4 hp. It sucks in warmer air than a CAI (Cold air intake) because it is in the engine bay but is still better than factory. There also is almost zero chance you car will suck up water and hydrolock (be ruined)
A CAI goes farther down then a SRI and hangs near the fender well. It sucks in more cold air giving you slighty more hp. You can hydrolock and suck up water alot more easy because it is so close to the ground. AEM has a by-pass valve for $50 that prevents this from happening. A very good investment if you live in a rainy area or go near puddles. If you get a CAI and bypass valve it is still a good idea to drive slowly through puddles so your filter wont get as dirty and your chance for problems will be greatly reduced. Either way, people like both! Its up to you! Hope to have helped.
