Hi! Recently my Accord start loosing power suddenly as I am driving. Went to my garage changed 2 injectors that were not good anyway and pressure hose, but the problem still occur.
They recon that is the high pressure pump.
How likely is that to happen and does it worth to go after a second hand one from ebay or elsewhere trying to save a fortune, because the new ones are quite expensive.

Have you tried Rock Auto? If I were replacing a fuel pump, I'd go with a Denso pump. The only problem I see with a used pump is that it might not be any better than the one you currently have. Have you pressure tested the existing pump yet?
