Default Intro

Just joined the forum. New to Hondas as well. I did some searching on issues related to my car and this forum seems to have people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

I recently purchased a 1997 Accord and soon after ran into issues. I've been a Ford guy and have worked on cars for a long time. The problem I have with the new cars is that I remember how easy it was to work on the old cars. Nothing is straightforward on the newer cars. You have to disassemble most of the car to get a job done. I'm hoping that once I get this Accord straightened out, I won't have to do much for a while. I just bought it to get me through three more years, but events have conspired against me and it needs major work. More details on that to be posted in the appropriate area.
