It's a long way south
Hi,
new member here!
Joined a couple of months ago, looking for some info re:changing an old accord's automatic antenna. Got some good advice, but could not use it as the nut holding the works in place outside the wheel-well is so badly corroded that it disintigrated when I tried to undo it. So I pulled up the antenna and am using it like that till I have to do a proper repair.
The car is a 92 accord - luxiory model that I just purchased in Vancouver Canada. 200,000K on the clock, just had the timing belt done, body and paint in great shape, only one small patch of rust on one of the rear fenders. So far have done about 3500k and only had to put in gas.
Leaving Van. on Sunday, driving inland to Rossland then turning south across the border to Spokane, the following highway 395 south to San Diego, then further south to La Paz in Mexico, where we will rejoin our lovely sailboat "KASASA" Will spend the winter on board and then my wife will bring the car back to Canada by road while I bring the boat back via Hawai. Follow us on "sailblogs - search for KASASA.
Cheers,
Ian.
