My first Honda, 1984 Honda Accord
Hey there everyone, I was looking for a honda (civic or crx) and all I could find was ruff, rusted out, needed a ton of work and had a ton of miles , But then a friend told me they know where there's a honda hatchback 1984 with "some rust" knowing nothing more about it I go take a look at it and this is what I find
A 1984 Honda accord 4 cly, 5 speed "3 door" garage kept its whole life, one owner, 98,500 miles on it, and a lil rust by the back wheels,
thats my story

Boy, did this bring a smile to my face. My first car was a '84 hatchback in this same color of blue, except I had a DX (with optional air conditioning). When I was in high school, my Dad, whose hobby is audio systems, installed for me an Alpine CD/radio deck and four JBL speakers all around. Did I love that car... but I digress.
Those wheel covers are not the actual ones used on that model- the covers on your car look like they were sourced from an 86-89 Accord. If you search ebay for "1984 Honda Accord wheel covers", I just saw a complete set for $40.
If you want to keep your car for a while, get the rest spots taken care of. If it's just going to be an around-town jalopy, then let it go. Otherwise, it looks from your photo like the paint is in good shape. Any leaks that you can tell? Is this exhaust clear?
Good luck with it.

While you're searching for the wheel covers on ebay, you should also be able to find replacement tail lights. I've found at least three online- just search "1984 Honda Accord taillight." Also, as a heads-up, regarding the wheel covers for your car, if you have trouble finding them for 1984, also search for 1985, and both model years used the same wheel covers.

shes still going strong. I love driving this car and I love the mpg( 25mpg if I ride her hard and I have gotten up to 38mpg babing her)
I rolled 100k a while back and made me sad I've put 2k more on her after that, When trying to find parts sometimes it feels like she the only one ever made.
I did find a tail light on ebay...
the 20 year old struts could use a up grade
thats all for now folks
