That sucks for you, my buddy had an Rx-7 that was imported from Japan, he got into a wreck and none of the parts for the ones built in America would fit so instead of it costing him $900 for repairs it ended up costing him $2600.
It might be different with the Hondas though

No it doesn't suck at all. The Japan built models are the most desirable for those in the know. With a Honda J-Spec, or built in Japan, itis a coveted item. Boy how things changed since I was a young man. Stuff built in Japan was junk kinda like the items we see built in China now.

Sorry, I did a little research after I posted, I can see why it is more desirable. I was more referring to the potential rise in part costs for a true import car, but even if that were the case, I think I would still rather have a J-Spec car than one built here.
