The "Hitachi distributor" for the carburetor advance broke off, held by two screws. Plastic tie wraps hold the thing in place. I use the car most for fun, and it has zero rust. It was after-market rust fixed when I bought it in late 1986.

I'm 84 and hate to break down but my wife has a brain tumor, so she needs a wheelchair. I've been trying to buy one only to send it back. It must be a Hitachi with the plastic advance, or my timing will not be correct, so says AI. The stamped number on it is D4R 84-58. On some, there is a small metal plate over the number.
