My name is Oscar, and I recently purchased abrand spanking new blue4 dr,07 accord 4 cyl. It was a total upgrade from the other 4 banger i had (06 sentra 1.8 SE). Much bigger, wider, and i see better gas mileage.So far loving it. Could have gotten the 6cyl but was actually looking for economy at this point in time.

Imust admit, I wasn't a big fan of the previous accords. This one i like a lot. Don't know about modding just yet. I was browsing thru here and found some interesting information.

Well, I'll be on regularly. looking forward to great ideas.

I think the 6th-gen ('98-'02) looks thebest, most graceful or something like that.
4th-gen is about the size I'd prefer. All cars keep getting bigger & bigger so over time they move into a different class (in my mind). Just think about what kind of Nissan you'd have to buy if you wantedthe samesizeas a '95 Sentra.

7th-gen ('03-'07) is my favorite based on mechanical goodness of the engine. The K-series just hasso much over the previous F-series. But I don't like the looks as much as the 6th-gen. It's too bad that the gearshift lever in my '03 5-speed has an awkward position for my right arm. I guess you can't have everything...

 

What is awkward about the shifter position? Too high? Too low?

 

It's hard to describe.I'd likeit farther forward& maybe it's the armrest is too high. My daughter drives that car & she's OK with it, so I'm probably just wierd.

I've never driven a 6-gen5-spd, so it might not be any different.

 

lol, they were alright, just not at all my taste. the 08 looks to me too much like the front of a saturn. can't remember which one it was though, just my opinion

used to have a 99 Infiniti I30...in fact that's what I sold to get my accord instead, even though I went backwards 8 years! lol! I like my Honda much more than I did the overpriced Maxima (the I30)...welcome to the Honda family

 

I have an 08 accord and have never seen a saturn that looks like it. Most peopleI have spoken with think it looks like an acura or a bmw...I don't know, I just like it but to each his/or her own. Congrats on the new accord. I have seen the blue color and think it's one of the best colors honda has availible.
