Hi guys i'm a new accord ower i have a '06 v4 coupe'. Unfortunately is a leasing so i really can't play around too much with it, and also because this is my first car and i don't really know a lot about customizing. So i wanted to ask you guys wut can i install on my baby without messing around with the warranty. Are the chips that they sell on e bay any good? i would like to find something that is cheap but that can give me those few extra HP so that the car is a lil more fun to drive....
thanks

Welcome. But you may want to check that engine again. AFAIK, Honda only made V-4 engines for motorcycles. Yours is an in-line 4.

Chips are like anything else on ebay. Once in awhile good stuff amid tons of junk. Give a specific example before someone can say if it's any good.

My thoughts are to improve handling rather than power. But that's just me (after having a couple speeding tickets...)

Welcome to HAF! The $30ish "chips" on eBay are Juuuunk! All it is, is a fancy box, with a fancy sticker and contains basically nothing more than a resistor to change the computers vision of the temp. of the air. You MAY see a slight performance increase but most people dont, and your gas mileage sinks faster than a rock. The sad thing is that making a car fast isnt cheap at all

Hello New member...
Thank you for joining up with HAF..
The thing about lease cars is that almost any thing you put on them they more than likely will detect it before the lease is over..good Luck there.
