Hello! My name is Matt. I'm a 29 year old male and I've been in the Air Force for 10 years. I am currently stationed at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma where I'm a Flight Engineer on the E-3 AWACS.
Anyways, I found this forum using a Google search. I just got a 1993 Accord SE Coupe yesterday. It has the 2.2L engine and the automatic tranny. My wife and I hate making car payments. We have several different vehicles that were all paid for in cash. I have always owned GM vehicles with the exception of one Ford. This is my first Honda. I like to get cars that have problems for cheap and fix them up. I'm very mechanically inclined and haven't ran into a problem yet that I couldn't fix. I use a lot of other forums too and all have been helpful.
I actually got this Honda for free from my cousin. It has some problems and he didn't know what to do with it and couldn't sell it. He needed to get rid of it because he didn't have the room. He was going to let a junk yard have it, but let me take it off his hands instead! I managed to drive it 200 miles back to my house last night though! So it can't be that bad. The car has 202,000 miles on it. It is the fully loaded version, but the leather isn't in great shape. The radio display doesn't light up, but I'm going to replace that with an aftermarket radio. Anyways, I look forward to picking your brains. Here's some pics:
You can see my 1996 S-10 beater in the background. (newer looking S-10) That's the best vehicle I've ever owned. Paid $1,200 four years ago.

Hey KC nice 93, like you im owning my 1st Honda also #53 on my car list lol..i had a 87 S-10 Blazer also..Im havin a blast with my 91 EX i owe my boss yet $1250 yet but i work for her to pay off..So anyways Welcome..
