Default New to Accords

hello all, im from wisconsin and just bought a 1997 Accord coupe special edition from my aunt in Atlanta so it has no rust on it. It has leather, an Automatic trans, electric windows locks and mirrors. Its got 203,000miles but my aunt never beat on it so it still runs strong. I would really like a 5 speed and ive found a few threads on swapping them over, but they all say it has to be from the same year car (ie a 97) but i found a parts car on my local craigslist for cheap that has a manual transmission, its a 93 accord (not sure what model) but it has a 5 speed that i want, I was wondering if i could use its trans or is that a lost cause? and yes ik i need to use a 97 ECU from a manual.

its not that it shifts slowly, it just shifts very harshly and id like the few MPG extra and the feeling of sporty driving with the 5 speed.
