Hello!

I'm new to the forums as of about 12 minutes ago. My name is Amanda (all say "Hi Amanda!", I say "Hello all!") I work in the service dept at an Acura dealer and love it there. I'm a huge nerd, both w/ cars and otherwise (for example, I've named my car "The Borg"... huge trekkie nerd.) I have a passion for cars in general, and a strange love for diesel trucks, too. I spend my summers at car shows, both classic and tuner, and truck/tractor pulls. I'm an avid crocheter, possibly a crazy cat lady, and my guilty pleasure is Teen Mom on MTV. Haha.

My car is a 2012 Accord Coupe EX 4cyl w/ 5spd manual trans. I bought it July 2012 and already have over 22k miles on it. I've wanted a manual, sporty car, but wanted something comfy and with good mpgs since I put on about 30k miles a year. So far, my only mods are bumper stickers and fog lights (birthday present, yay!). I'd like to lower my car subtly, maybe an inch, and still keep a comfortable ride. I wanna do some funky wheels - just fell in love with a pink set (because even though I'm a car nerd, I'm still a girl XD) that I found on eBay. Looking at the Honda accesory body kit, possibly - gotta see what employee price is through work. I wanna do a subtle tint on the windows as well. I'd love to do some goofy "borg" themed stuff - vanity plates reading ASSIML8 will be coming when my renewal is due - REALLY wanna figure out a way to put the starfleet academy logo in the center caps! Hahaha, my boyfriend hates me for that one...



Anyways - I look forward to getting to know you guys and getting your advice and input!

Haha. Definitely on the right track! But I'm very picky. I'm more inclined towards solid, not tapered spokes. And a more vibrant pink! I like these!
