First thing, pics?n

Second thing, I got the same car in the SE model. [8D]

Third thing, simple mods are Intake, Header, and Exhaust. There's plenty to do, just requires money and work.

welcome to the forums

the most important thing to know about the site is take a look around before asking a question, as most have been answered before, like for example "whats the best intake" or "whats the best exhaust" have all been asked a million times

What up from Austin, TX [sm=hiya.gif]

I would start off the mods with a clean set of wheels and suspension.

I would start off with the basics. cold air intake, headers, cat back, ignition upgrade, sway bars, coilovers, brakes

then, you might want to consider a turbocharger, high flow fuel rail, fuel regulator, and injectors

No ignition upgrade or fuel rail ..... either it doesn't exist or won't help.

Fuel Reg is worthless without a high volume, high pressure pump, but unless she plans to spend thousands on mods, fuel upgrades are out, injectors, turbo, etc.

First make sure that all the maintenance is up to par, then if you have an auto tranny, get a Hayden 403 tranny cooler on it before anything else. A drop and tint are the most noticible upgrades and the suspension is just a good idea if you like to drive fast or hard. Sways are a good start on the suspension stuff too. A drop will cost about $1000 to do it right and up to about $2500 for max handling.

Another thing. If you lower it, the front needs the Ingalls control arm camber kit. It's expensive .... ~$280 if I remember correctly. If you use the cheaper offset ball joint kit, first it will hit the body of the car on moderate bumps, then after you have the edge ground down to lessen the contact (it won't ever be perfect!) the ball joint will die (mine in a year) ..... then you will have to buy the more expensive kit and have it installed. If you do it right, the good kit won't die.
