New Guy checking in.
My name is Blake, and although i currently drive a Nissan Titan, I have owned 3 accords previously. a 92 a 95 and an 02.
I recently picked up a 98 accord lx for my step son, and will be utilizing this site to help me work out the bugs
We picked it up for $2700, and it has about 130k miles on it. It came with 18in wheels and new tires, aftermarket head lights and tail lights, a nice stereo, and speakers, headers, and a CAI. We kind of got douped on it though, as half way home the check engine came on and now its slipping in second gear. CEL code P0740. Once we get the trans replaced it should be a good car for him. We spent 2 days cleaning the seats and floor, and just going over the car.
I will be starting some threads later for help with other issues. Things like the doors not locking with the switch, AC being flaky, and whatever else comes along. Although its his car, Im the DIY guy and will be fixing everything i can handle.
I know everyone loves pics so here are a few shots of the car, and one or two of my Titan.
