new guy from south jersey
hi everyone, i'm fred, while doing some body repairs on a friends prelude, i fell in love with honda's!
his prelude is quick and nimble and gets great gas mileage; so i wanted something like it but a lil bigger so i could use it for work. ( i'm a full time musician, drummer.)
i just bought this creampuff 93 accord lx.
it's in very nice condition, has very little rust, new air conditioner compressor, timing belt, and has headers and new exhaust, and some kind of air cleaner assembly lol..
it has 219,000 miles and runs great. automatic trans that the former owner insisted that i use honda trans fluid only! i bought some, but it doesnt need any yet. i'm baby-ing the trans. i need it to last a while.
i have taken one 300 mile trip in it, and estimated my fuel use at 28mpg, which i was very pleased with.
not nearly as quick as the prelude...(both are 1993 4 cyls) but runs and sounds great on the highway. i love it.
anyway...
