New guy from SouthWest Ohio...
Hello.
My name is Dean and I just picked up this 1999 LX with 172k miles on it.
It had been totaled due to being side swiped at the owners work so I picked it up for a measly $600... Already picked up the heat/cool ****, a factory radio and a replacement mirror from a local U-Pull. Went there looking for doors but unfortunately the ones they had didn't meet my standards.
I also own a Honda Fit that the lovely Mrs drives.
Bad side:
Good side:
After steam cleaning:
Dash cleaned up:

thanks for the welcomes everybody!
so far I have spent $31, including the new power mirror, the dial for temp control and a replacement factory radio. The doors when they finally have a 4dr with two decent doors are $60 each so in total with tune-up, fluid changes, etc I expect to have approx $850-900 invested? No idea what the car is worth but it starts on 1st crank, idles smoothly, runs strong and drives/rides nicely. It's so much smoother riding than our Fit. The massive difference in wheel base and it seems like it has way more sound deadening in the accord as the Fit is super noisy on the freeway. My last accord we owned was in 1993 and it was a burgundy 4dr '86.
