Just joined up. My daughter has a 2002 Honda Accord with 200,000 miles. I can turn a wrench but am gettig older. She's always counted on me to help or at least advise.

She is having a bit of a problem, but this is just an introduction thread. Occasionally I will join a forum and discuss an automotive problem. I will also discuss my diagnostic thoughts and procedures and what I found to correct the issue.

Thanks - observant1

Hey observant1,

Father to a daughter here, too.

She is 16 almost 17. Whenever I worked on my 2007 CR-V I made sure she was using the tools. I will let her use that vehicle, her Grandfather's ride as I will be purchasing a '06 or '07 Accord with manual transmission.

Put the tools in her hands and guide her. Greatest way for her to save money is to learn how to fix things herself AND change the oil every 5,000 - 7,500 miles of course with Syntho.
